I just added about 4 new people to my F-list, thanks to [info]mctabby's friending fest. And I'm not even done going through the pages yet. I added all the people I saw that had "femmeslash" under thier interests, which isn't many.

I've decided that I'm going to make a colorbar or banner or something for people to stick in their profiles so I know who's a femmeslash fan or not. Like, the Femmeslash Appreciation Society or something like that. Because we femmeslashers rock, and there are too few of us. Flaunt that femmeslash pride, bitches. Flaunt it.

ever heard a song, or a quote from a song, that seemed perfect to build a fic around - but the bunnies wouldn't come? the tone of the lyrics, a particular few words, the actual subject matter: doesn't matter what inspired you about it, it made you think of fic, and you've been wanting to make that happen in some way?

well, here's the idea: you post five or ten quotes that you think would be prime fic material, either as an actual part of the fic or just as a springboard. your friends come along, get inspired, and write you drabbles or ficlets. then they post their quotes, and it's a big, beautiful circle of fanfiction. got it?

Wow, I feel like I never have time to update anymore. I have all these fic bunnies running around in my head and neither the time or patience to write them out. How sad my life is. :(

I just saw the movie "Sky Captian and the World of Tomorrow" the other night and BOY did I get SLASHY VIBES. Did anyone else sense the Joe/Dex that was going on? Oh boy. Hit me like a brick.

I might just have to write that out, unless anyone wants to write it for me. *pleading puppy eyes*

I'm not going to be able to do the [info]hpfsc challenge this time around, either!. RL keeps getting in the way!! ARGGG.

I'm kinda upset because the person who was supposed to write my fic for [info]hpfsc has not posted it yet and I was really looking foward to reading it (Pansy/Ginny, NC-17, "I won't let them hurt you" - a fic I've been trying to write myself but somehow it never comes out right). I suppose they'll post it eventually, and I hope soon. I'll have to check if there have been any updates.

"Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince."

Well, sounds bloody awful to me.

Confirmed on Jo Rowling's site, Mugglenet, and the Leaky Cauldron, the above is the title for book 6. As Rhysenn said, we can never judge the quality of the pages by just the title, but frankly I think Jo could have done a better job with it.

She's also said that the so-called "Prince" is neither Harry nor Voldemort. Well let's think here - who else is a half blood? We can rule out all females, the entire Slytherin house, plus Neville, Dean Thomas (who, according to Jo's site, is muggle born), the Weasleys and anyone who had parents that were aurors or Death Eaters. The only other person I can think of who is a known halfblood and is male is Seamus Finnegan, whom I have a feeling Jo likes a lot and may be a possibility.

I really do hope that this book is good - Order of the Pheonix wasn't as good as I had hoped, and I really don't want to see the books slowly decrease in quality. I'll be very dissapointed if that is the case.


Other than that, I'm *again* being archived at Pink Frilly Robes, thanks to dear Kaz who is putting the drabble I just wrote (which I posted everywhere it seems, but didn't get as much feedback as I would have liked) up there. I'll put the link up here and in the info as soon as it's up. 'Tis very exciting.
